Call for Papers: Generative AI, Metaverse, and Immersive Technologies

The Romanian Journal of Information Technology and Automatic Control – RRIA (rria.ici.ro/en/), a leading publication in the field of computer science, is pleased to announce a call for papers for its upcoming special issue focused on Metaverse, Generative AI, and Immersive Technologies. This special issue aims to showcase the latest research, innovations, and insights in these dynamic and rapidly evolving fields. This initiative is led by the "Advanced research in the Metaverse and emerging technologies for the digital transformation of societies" project team with the goal of encouraging cooperation and networking among interested members of the scientific community.

Scope and Topics

We invite original research papers, review articles, case studies that contribute to the body of knowledge in the following areas, but not limited to:

• Metaverse: user experience, Development frameworks, digital economy, digital community, Metaverse applications and societal impacts;
• Generative AI: Novel architectures, applications, ethical implications, and future trends;
• Immersive Technologies: advancements in virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and their applications.

Submission Guidelines

• Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere;
• Manuscripts should follow the Romanian Journal of Information Technology and Automatic Control - RRIA's formatting and submission guidelines, available at Publication Guidelines;
• All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process, adhering to the journal's high standards for quality and integrity.

Important Dates

• Submission Deadline: June 30th 2024
• Notification of Acceptance: August 15th 2024
• Final Manuscript Due: September 10th 2024
