OVERVIEW
The Romanian Journal of Information Technology and Automatic Control (RJITAC) is an official scientific publication of the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest. The Journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access publication which welcomes original articles, protected by copyrights, on topics mainly related to Information Technology, Automation and Control Engineering, Computer Science and other sciences connected to these areas.
The journal has a long history in print and has been published without interruption since 1991. This publication is indexed and abstracted in the following international research databases:
EBSCO, INDEX COPERNICUS, EAST VIEW, DOAJ, ROAD, JGATE, CABELL`S DIRECTORIES, CROSSREF and CNKI. Beginning with volume 27 (1)/2017, RJITAC was indexed and abstracted in EMERGING SOURCES CITATION INDEX (ESCI). ESCI index is part of the WEB OF SCIENCE (WOS).
The journal welcomes submissions from across the world. The manuscripts should be original, previously unpublished research papers/articles which can be submitted in English or Romanian – the language being a choice of the authors.
RJITAC covers different case studies, best practice examples, IT solutions which correspond to the following research areas: business, health, administration, industry, environment protection, alternative energy sources, information security, information technology, culture and education, on the premise that an informed decision is a right decision.
While most open-access publishers charge fees for publishing articles, there is NO publishing processing charge (APC) for all papers previously accepted for publication in the Romanian Journal for Information Technology and Automatic Control.
