BI Tools for Assisting Local Administration Decisions

Abstract:

The paper presents the main results obtained in the research project „Decision support system assisting local administration based on Business Intelligence tools”. The project aimed to develop an experimental model for a decision assistance support system dedicated to local administration using Business Intelligence solutions. Through the Webbased interface associated to the decision system, information specific to the activities from an institution of local administration can be readily available to decision makers, in a concise and focused manner, allowing them to act and bring improvements to the institution activity.
