Iulia MIRESCU

Abstract:

The purpose of the paper is to present a research study about the socio-human impact and some benefits concerning the improvement of the governmental decision act due to the utilization of new citizen’s consulting technologies. This approach was, in Romania after the 1989 Revolution, at a pioneering level, but it constitutes a goal in perspective of the public administration informatics system reorganization, in order to respond to the express requirements of the European Union in accordance with new governmental and electronic democracy concepts introduced by Framework Programmes starting with FP5. Concepts like “digital democracy” which includes complementary fields like “e-government”, “e-citizen”, and “e-democracy” are nothing else but constitutive elements designed to help defining the main improving directions of the general social life and of the democratic management process of the world of twenty one century.
