Victor Popa, Liliana Constantinescu

Abstract:

Accessing public services from different domains including: healthcare, social programs, dues and taxes etc., represents a red tape challenge for all citizens, but the senior citizens are most affected. In order to manage this situation, the government and non-government agencies and other organizations offer online configurations for accessing services dedicated to this population segment. Envisaging these challenges, the WebAgeing system implements an "open middleware" type infrastructure based on semantic technology, capable of catering composed personalized services for senior citizens according to their profile. Therefore, we integrate the autonomous, heterogeneous services, distributed geographically furnished by service providers (government and non-government agencies, other organizations) for the elderly, using a recording mechanism of services with interest communities, reckoned on syntactic and semantic matching algorithms and providers' services are composed in a personalized manner, with the purpose of executing the demands addressed by the elderly to the WebAgeing system.

Keywords:
