Incentives and rewards in support of the implementation of open science

Abstract:

By this article, we join the community of specialists who believe in the principles of open science, and want to participate in raising public awareness of this movement. Based on the behavioral principles of learning new behaviors, we will present a synthesis of the literature on incentives and rewards involved in activities associated with open science and materialized in specific benefits for different categories of stakeholders (with reference to the deliverables of European projects dedicated to this topic).
