DigiMultiCult Integrated System – Single Point of Access to Cultural Diversity from Romania

Abstract:

This paper refers to the results of research developed within the research project "Integrated system for promoting and emphasizing multiculturalism for sustainable development of rural areas (DigiMultiCult)" from the R&D sectoral plan of the Ministry for Information Society. The paper presents briefly the facilities offered by the system, the architecture and the system components, the system services, the functionalities specific to the multicultural area. In the end, there are described the levels from the system for the presentation of multicultural information specific to historical areas of Romania.
