Reconstruction of Pedestrian-Vehicle accidents – Determining of Vehicle Speed According to throw Distance Using Rec-Tec Platinum Program

This article presents the main ecuations (validated at the world level) of the REC-TEC Platinium software subrutine (software dedicated to road accident reconstruction), used for computing the speed of a car at the moment of its impact with a pedestrian crossing the street.
