Symmetrical Globality. An Esthetic Point of View

Cristian LUPU

Abstract:

We named the globality the behavior or the structural self-organization of a collectivity around a property. The symmetrical globality is the behavior or the structural self-organization of a collectivity around a property of symmetry. For example, the works of art can be estimated by the help of the symmetrical or asymmetrical properties and, then, can be appreciated by the help of the symmetrical globality. Morphological interconnection, proposed as a new model of interconnection, assembles by specific rules in the architectural space Sn! or in the architectural spaces Sn1!, ..., Snk!, certain elementary entities named morphemes. If we use the architectural principle of the symmetrical globality we name these entities symmetrical morphemes. With the aid of the symmetrical morphemes we build symmetrical collectivities and symmetrical ensembles leading to a symmetrical interconnection. The symmetrical collectivities and ensembles can be esthetical collectivities and ensembles (works of art). We differentiate the esthetical interconnected collectivities (composed of nodes and links) of the symmetrical esthetical collectivities (composed of symmetric morphemes). The globality characterizing these esthetical symmetrical collectivities and ensembles we name the esthetical symmetrical globality. The esthetical symmetrical globality is an estimating measure of works of art, as we try to demonstrate in this paper.
