About climate changes it is speaking a lot with few effects in the moment when they are no more just a challenge but a fact. We are already living with climate changes, and the violent manifestations of the climate occure in every moment on the Globe, generating dramatic changes in the peoples' life, bringing suffering and death, causing large migrations, and amplifying, together with the drastic decrease of fossil energy resources - the danger of vaste proportions military conflicts. In such conditions, it is difficult to imagine a sustainable scenario of development for the whole planet without an immediateand committed mobilisation of everybody and each of us. To be able to act, people need to know. If the mature people meet difficulties in adapting themselves to the new conditions, in changing thir atitudes and behaviours, the youth and children show a special interest concerning major problems of the present and are open to learn all they need to do the necessary change for the save the planet. However, for this the students need teachers with abilities in offering the necessary framework for education for sustainable development, and, of course, the entire palette of prevalent practical activities, the only able to rise the interest for leaniing theoretic elements. The project ,,Kyoto in the Home" developed in the generous framework offered by the European Programme ,,Intelligent Energy Euroin" in that Prietenii Pamantului and IC! are the Romanian partners of other 10 organisations from UK, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary, has the aim of introducing to household end-users the needed elements for the use of renewable energy in small scale applications.
