Open Access Statement
Through Open Access (OA) and other means, Romanian Journal of Information Technology and Automatic Control journal (original Romanian title: Revista Română de Informatică și Automatică – RRIA) is committed to the rapid and global dissemination of innovative research and practice in areas of Information Technology, Automation and Control Engineering, Computer Science as well as new IT solutions which correspond to the following research areas: business, health, administration, industry, environment protection, alternative energy sources, information security, information technology, culture, education. In this way, the journal seeks to maximise the impact and influence of all articles published here.
We pledge to maintain high ethical standards related to all aspects of the publication process, to provide a personable service to our authors and reviewers, and to aim towards the most effective propagation of our publication.
We strive towards fair, transparent and sustainable Open Access models. Our journal is a fully open access journal – Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), which means that all articles are available on the Internet to all users immediately upon publication. Non-commercial use and distribution in any medium is permitted, provided that the author and the journal are properly credited. We support the archiving of scholarly content and the accessibility of relevant data and datasets. Moreover, authors do not pay an open access fee, as there is no article publication charge (APC) for the papers previously accepted for publication.
We believe that anyone should be able to publish OA, regardless of status, geographical location or institutional affiliation. As such, we are committed to assisting our authors to overcome barriers to the publication of their work OA.
As we work towards these aims, we welcome feedback and suggestions.
