European Services Directive, support for eServices

Abstract: The paper presents the European Directive on Services in order to emphasize the main types of services which have to be unitarily approached by the Member States. There are concisely described a few principles that formed the basis of the directive. There is exemplified the mode in which the European Directive on Services led to ICT project financing, projects which point out the facilitation of the development of cross-border electronic services and interoperability.
