Abstract: Increasing the number of mobile devices brings an increase in applications developed for these devices. The need for rapid penetration of the mobile application market forces management to put pressure on development teams to launch applications ahead of competition. However, in order to achieve the expected effect, it is necessary for the development process to take into account the quality indicators for the development of mobile applications from the point of view of the users. Within this article, based on the mobile application development features – legibility, modifiability, regenerability, integrity and testability, it is demonstrated that they are interconnected and that it is necessary to consider all the features to achieve a high quality mobile application. These features were the basis for a questionnaire dedicated to app quality assessment. The questionnaire was distributed to software developers and ordinary mobile application users. Based on the analysis of the results obtained, two sets of weighting of the development characteristics were used that were used to build the mobile application quality assessment metrics. This has resulted in the aggregate indicator for mobile computing for developers and users.
