Knowledge Basis in Complex Moulds Design and Manufacturing

Abstract: The paper presents the Knowledge Basis role in CAD / CAM – AI hibrid systems building. Refering only Complex Moulds Design and Manufacturing, an inovative prototype consisting of CATIA, the leading product development solution for all manufacturing organizations and a knowledge base managed with the expert system shell CLIPS is described.
